An auto-renewing contract renews unless notice arrives before the end date minus the notice period. That earlier date is the one to watch.
Inside 90 days, act now
When the deadline is less than 90 days away the calculator says to give notice. Further out, there is still time to renegotiate.
After the deadline, it renews
Once the notice date has passed an auto-renewing contract renews. The next chance usually comes a full term later.
