The free plan includes one leader and everything the product does. There is no card to enter and nothing expires.
Why this metric
A vendor register is only as good as the people willing to fill it in. Most per-seat pricing quietly taxes exactly those people, so companies buy fewer seats, the data stops arriving, and the product becomes a list of things somebody wrote down once.
So the metric is the budget-owning leader: a person accountable for a budget area. Somebody who owns three areas is one leader, not three. Contributors, viewers, finance partners and vendor-management contacts are not counted at all, however many of them there are.
If you go past what your plan covers, nothing gets hidden, locked, or deleted. Your vendors, contracts and figures stay exactly where they are. The only thing that waits is giving another person their own budget area.

Questions people ask
- Who counts as a budget-owning leader?
- Anyone named as accountable for a budget area in your workspace. If nobody is named, nothing is billable. If one person owns several areas, they count once.
- Do my finance partner and vendor-management contact cost anything?
- No, and neither do viewers or team leads confirming what they use. They supply the data. Charging for them would defeat the purpose of the product.
- What happens if we go over the plan?
- You are asked to add capacity before another person can be given their own budget area. Nothing is hidden, locked, exported away, or deleted, and everyone keeps reading and editing exactly as before.
- Is there a card to enter?
- Not today. The free plan needs nothing, and paid plans are arranged with a person while pricing is being settled.
- Do we need to connect a finance system first?
- No. The product works standalone by design. Vendors and contracts arrive by PDF upload, forwarded email, or direct entry, and a connector is never required.
